About Us

Mekela Busbee grew up helping her family plan and execute birthday parties, weddings, and holiday gatherings.  As time went on, she realized how much she liked planning events.  Anything from simply dinner parties to outings for large groups.

Mekela later worked at Sprint where she was responsible for planning 6 events each year.  Some events were even out of state. Between planning events for work and personal, Mekela realized this is what she wanted to do.

Mekela soon opened A Dream Come True Events.  Not wanting to limit herself to just weddings, Mekela caters to all types of events.
